We are pleased to present our new upcycling models. With a creative and conscious approach to reusing leftover materials, we are giving them a chance to shine in a new design.
When sourcing our materials, we always pay attention to responsibility: most of our leather materials come from Italy, while we source fabrics and shoe boxes locally in Germany.
Although there are sometimes leftover materials that go beyond our limited "Made in Germany" editions, we have found a great solution to put these leftovers to good use and breathe new life into them. Our aim is not only to reduce waste, but also to encourage a rethink towards sustainable and environmentally friendly fashion.
An outstanding example of this is the ULTIMATE RACER II-IV, a unique combination of the popular RACER silhouette and the ULTIMATE outsole, manufactured in our family-run Hummel&Hummel Schuhmanufaktur manufactured in Germany.
These sneakers are taken to the next level with high-quality materials such as smooth nappa leather and first-class craftsmanship. The leather lining and the patented DYNACOIL cushioning system in the midsole make the ULTIMATE RACER incredibly comfortable. And of course, the original KangaROOS pocket on the inside of the tongue is a must.
