KangaROOS x Ghica Popa "SPACESHIP" Ultimate

We are excited to release our collaboration with artist GHICA POPA soon and invite you to our release event in Hamburg at Matter Urban Market.

Ghica is one of the top 10 sneaker artists in the world according to Sneaker Freaker Magazine. His first sneaker project "Space Vehicles" was immediately featured by Hypebeast, Complex, Highsnobiety and others. His work reached a global scale; he collaborated with brands (Gucci, Ray-Ban, Casio G-Shock, Jeff Staple....) and sneaker stores from around the world.

KangaROOSx Ghica Popa "SPACESHIP" Ultimate is Ghica's first sneaker collaboration; Team KangaROOS is honored!
The sneaker is about an "out of this world" approach that KangaROOS and Ghica share. This is the "out of this world" quality of the German-made ROOS and Ghica's illustrated universe, adorned with carefully detailed spacecraft. On this first expedition, KangaROOS and Ghica boldly and playfully explore new territories, supported by the ROOS ULTIMATE sneaker "exploration vehicles" that have their own transport box.

This sneaker is 100% handmade in Germany in the Hummel&Hummel Schuhmanufaktur and comes with all the attention to detail that KangaROOS' collaborations are known for, like an unusual box, a pair of socks and a focus on recycled materials.
