The Coil R1 is an absolute classic if you look at the rich history of the KangaROOS brand. With this "Classic" version, we are paying the silhouette the respect it deserves. Unlike today, many sports shoes from the 1980s and 1990s tended to have two-tone uppers. And so, despite its many design options, we have given this Coil R1 "Archive" a classic two-tone upper. The material mix of mesh, suede and smooth leather is also typical of a shoe from this period. Only the stabilizer in the heel area, whose original purpose was to stabilize the lateral mobility of the foot, is slightly darker. The DYNACOIL cushioning system in the midsole, the tried-and-tested Ortholite insole and the mesh lining make the Coil R1 "Archive" super comfortable to wear. The outsole made of abrasion-resistant rubber also offers excellent grip.
