DEADSTOCK COLLAGE
The Deadstock Collage is the latest addition to our model range. We have created a hybrid shoe that combines the best of several models.
At the bottom of the Deadstock Collage sits the DYNACOIL sole of the Ultimate. It has been paired with the toebox and the outside of the Aussie, the inside of the Rally, and the flap of the Slam Dunks. The latter is hinged by simply unraveling a few threads, so the wearer can decide for themselves if they want to wear the tongue long like they liked to do with basketball models in the 80s, if they want to cut it off at the hinged point for that "used look", or if they just leave it folded in. Anything goes, nothing has to.
Due to the construction of the flap, this model is supplied without the original KangaROOS pocket.
The upper of the Deadstock Collage has a side panel made of nylon, a toebox and tongue made of mesh, a heel tab made of firmly woven nylon, to which we have attached a pull tab, as well as overlays made of almost velvety-looking suede. The stabilizer sits on the DYNACOIL midsole and runs around the heel area of the foot. It provides additional lateral stability.The tried-and-tested Ortholite insole and breathable mesh lining guarantee a high level of comfort. The outsole of this shoe is also made from abrasion-resistant rubber, which ensures a good grip and pleasant durability.
