As a family-run company in its second generation, we think long-term and are constantly addressing the issue of sustainability. We want to manufacture our KangaROOS products under fair and environmentally friendly conditions and do not see sustainability as a trend, but as a responsibility that we bear as a company.
With our models, we focus on regional production. KangaROOS Made in Germany models, we focus on regional production; with short transportation routes and reduced CO2 emissions due to the elimination of travel to production countries.
Our collection has also become more sustainable. KangaROOS Originals collection has also become more sustainable: We have relocated our production site in Asia to a partner who also thinks sustainably. Currently, all KangaROOS Originals are made from at least 32% recycled materials.
From the fall/winter 2023 collection, we will increase this percentage by incorporating new, innovative materials and technologies.
