The story began with a simple but ingenious idea: founder Bob Gamm, a passionate runner, wanted to design a shoe that could do more than just look good. He was looking for a sneaker that was both functional and practical and had room for his house keys while jogging. The result was the first sneaker with the famous small side pocket - the "Pocket."
